Volunteers Needed

The next phase of work on the tower floors is fast approaching.  For two weeks starting 2nd of June Peter Hayward and Blyth & Co will be here to take out the top floor and finish building the new floors, ready for the bells to go back.

Please could you look at the rota [shown below] and get back to me by Tuesday 13th May with what you can offer. Anything we provide will help our money go further towards getting the  bells back. We made a great team last time, so let’s try for the same.

We need:

  • Someone to take charge of the rota (i.e. allocate people and tasks so we have e.g. lunch provided every day).
  • Labour (including light work with dustpan and brush!).
  • Accommodation (Carl and Michael stayed with me last time but I can only put up one of them for the first week as our son Patrick will be here).
  • Lunches, tea, coffee, milk, cake.
  • Church minders (we may keep the church locked but it would be useful to have someone to mind the door and make teas etc even  if it is locked)
  • Evening meals.
